Noureen was born in New York City on 28 February 1984. Her interest to become an actress has been constant. Her career began when she attended at the School of the Arts at Boston University. The career of Noureen began shortly after she graduated. She started auditioning for roles in various films. In 2005, she was offered an important part in a movie called West Bank Story. West Bank Story debuted at Sundance Film Festival in 2005 and was screened across the globe. It also won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film during the 2007 79th Academy Awards. Her fame grew after 1999 when her performance in American Beauty gained worldwide recognition. She starred next in Ghost World (2001), an acclaimed film which garnered her the Golden Globe.
