Noureen DeWulf was born on February 28, 1984, in New York City. She's always displayed a keen interest in becoming an actress. As a student at the Boston University School of the Arts and Performing Arts, she started laying the foundations of a career. Following graduation, Noureen began to apply for roles in various films. As of 2005, Noureen was featured in an important role for the film West Bank Story. West Bank Story premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival and was also screened at other festivals around the world. She was a part of movies such as All I Want for Christmas (1991) Patriot Games (1992) Hocus Pocus (1993) Now and Then (1995) as well as Alaska (1996). Her role on American Beauty brought her worldwide appreciation and recognition in 1999. Her next film was the highly acclaimed Film Ghost World (2001), that resulted in the Golden Globe nomination.
