Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on the 20th of August 1974 in Aviano Italy). American actress. Famous for her naive and charming characters. Adams grew as the seventh year old within Castle Rock Colorado. At the beginning of 1990, she started performing professionally and dancing with the Boulder Dinner Theatre and the Country Dinner Playhouse in Colorado. Then she moved to a regional theatre in Minnesota in which she was featured in a documentary mock-up on beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Her screen debut was a huge success with the role of an obnoxious but friendly contestant, Janet relocated to Los Angeles where she began professional acting. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 until September 1962. Her children include Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was discovered by actress Norma Shearer who signed her a contract join MGM in the 1940s. She was in numerous acclaimed films in the next decade, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis-film that was released in 1954).
